Think we're going to head there Sunday for pumpkin carving and to check out the art show. Our walls are bare and wouldn't mind getting some local art on them.

That's awesome! Honestly I'm a noob when it comes to ocean fishing outside of fishing for stripers in the bay, so I'm hoping the saltwater guys can chime in on that thread and share their knowledge/stories too.

I'm a noob to anything out here, even freshwater since I never really got into it but I'm looking to now. I keep meaning to read up on some trout and bass fishing out here but I haven't found the time to yet. I also don't have any gear out here so I'll need to pick some stuff up before I go but I'll get there soon enough.

 

Pick a day and I'm in assuming I've got nothing going on. Lady friend keeps insisting on doing festive shit for Halloween

 

once i get back from my trip at the end of the month im down! Stripers are really heating up but then the bass are getting hot too since the water and wakeboarding has cooled off.

nah im off to Hawaii until next thursday. Taking that Friday off so i can start swapping my LT over on the van the weekend i come back. Then im ready to roll.

Jeez tiz the season for quakes, 5.0 Mag just shook me pretty good here in Morgan Hill. Center was outside Salinas

 

~4.8 from near Hollister. There was another 4.7 last night in East Bay. Hopefully it's not a warning.

they warned of an equivalent aftershock today because of last night.

 

I gotchu. definitely took me awhile to understand the fishing here vs my home state of Iowa. I seemed to catch a break a few years ago though, and ever since, I've been lucky to find some great bodies of water with good fishing here in NorCal.

 

Work shook a good bit...I'm in Salinas.
