I completely agree. I made sure to say the system covers it, instead of seals.

Don't have a finished picture with everything else in there, but I have a fridge that sits on there, and a few storage bins for all of my work stuff. So far, I've really loved the goose gear system.

 

Seatbelts also removed, for added safety.

 

My dad had an 84 SR5 xtra cab when I was a kid. When we weren’t just free for all in the bed we just sat on a pillow on the little cardboard/carpet shelf thing in the cab.

So my kids would still be safer in my 3rd gen then I ever was. More than likely though my wife would kill me or I would just go to jail for child endangerment.

Either way that GG is a bad ass seat delete setup.

So many ppl talk about and use dynamat like its the solution to any noise issue. In fact it's just a small part of true sound deadening

 

Check out my build thread, I went through the process of trying to kill some of the sound since that rear wall of the cab seems to be the single largest source of road noise.

I came up with a clever little solution for maintaining functionality of the vents while reducing noise using open cell foam. The best part it only costs you like $3 and 10-15min.
