ABS and Traction Control Lights on

Used the search feature, but didn't exactly get what I needed....

I lifted my truck 2 weeks after buying it brand new.
I currently have 79000 miles.

On a recent road trip back from Cleveland the ABS and Traction Control lights came on. Turned off truck at gas station and when I turned it back on, the lights did not come back on. 2 days later, the lights came back on while driving to work.

Is it possible that worn wheel bearing could cause the wheel speed sensor to get funky? It is hard to determine whether or not my wheel bearings are bad because I have the loudest tires known to man on the truck.... Cooper STT Pros (cannot wait to get rid of them)..... but I do recall replacing the front wheel bearings on my previous 2nd Gen Taco... one at 60,000 and the other 90,000.... so I may be close to the time where they might need replacing, which has prompted me to ask.

I find it difficult to accept the lift has caused issues with this as most stated that these lights came on right away after installing the lift.... my taco has been lifted for 79,000 miles.....

Haven't had a chance to see if it will show a code, going to try and read it with Torque Pro App tonight.... **update** with lights on Torque Pro App did not show any codes...

Any input is appreciated......thanks in advance....

Honestly its just speculation until you know the codes.

Biggest issues I've seen on Tacoma is the rear wiring harness to the 2 abs sensors. It doesnt like water, and corrodes.

Next is blown rear axle seals contaminating the sensors.

After that is REALLY bad front bearings causing misreadings.

 

Just updated post, used torque pro app and no codes show up...

It seems intermittent, when I turn off truck then on again, it clears the lights..

In the coming days I Will try unplugging harnesses and clean the contacts.

 

Connect pins 4 and 13 on the OBD2 connector and read the codes.
