Mostly because the Chupacabras are like a balloon with pimples compared to the Maxxis which actually have tread..........I'll take the weight and confidence vs baldness and being more prone to punctures too.............

Anyone know where I can get a front mud guard that will fit my bike? 2020 Giant Stance. I know there’s tons on Amazon and other websites but I’m not sure what will fit a new bike48D726DE-E3CD-4BFB-9080-0555B5CDF58B.jpg

That is the exact bike that caused me to ask about the rear hub upgradability...

Did 23 miles or so (extra loops on the fun drop and jump spots) at Sugar Land yesterday after 6 hrs of yrd work on Friday and a crossfit thing saturday morning.....parked on north end of trails so crossing river on the hwy bridge shoulder coming and going was f.u.n. and no bluetooth speaker on singletrack to ruin anybody's day :D

    20191019_151934_003_saved.jpg 20191019_151934_004_saved.jpg 20191019_151934_010_saved.jpg 20191019_151934_013_saved.jpg 20191019_151934_015_saved.jpg 20191019_151934_017_saved.jpg

Even went down south to try and catch the 1.5 of singletrack at that park on University blvd but no one bother as it is blocked off real good to keep people out of it from flooding. Was just extra miles in sun along top of a levee back and forth.

Trek is still in the shop. Got the heavy ole 3x, 26” tire, steel, iron horse out and holy shit this is sketchy to send lol I guess cause it’s shorter than my trek, it’s not as stable in the air? I have no clue lol but it’s fun. And scary.

Hahahahaha I legit tried! The stupid 3x whatever shifter is weak and skips so it’s basically a single speed so I had to just do what I could.

Hahahaha you gotta remember I’m in Texas. We don’t have anything actually hard for the most part unless it’s man made. I did what I could! Gotta work on my jumping form. I suck but you’re only in the air for half a second at a time so it’s hard to get it down lol

Anyone have a fork they're willing to part with? Just bought me my first bike (Nishiki Colorado comp) from a coworker and it's in rough shape. Just stripped it down to paint and now I need me a fork..

You’d be correct and yea I did a impromptu ride on Sunday. Currently have the iron horse torn apart as I’m attempting a 1x conversion on it cause the shifting is trash on it lol

I’m waiting on new bolts right now for the front. Gonna ride it and figure out the rear shifter after. The current one sucks balls.
