Bring your OWN booze on a plane?!

We have an 8.5 hour flight to Italy Sunday night. This would make the flight SO much better...

    I need details.

You can bring liquids (I don't know if that includes booze) in a 3.4 ounce container in a one quart zip lock bag. Here is the TSA site:

Technically a grey area. You’re more than allowed to bring nips of alcohol under 3.4 ounces on a plane. Once on the plane, you’re supposed to hand the nip to the stewardess so open and pour for you. Opening the alcohol is against FAA regulations. I may know a guy who has opened one or two on their own without issues.

Thanks hope you have a great trip too! Iceland is definitely on my list of places to visit. My in laws recently went and enjoyed it (except the airport there which they said was large and confusing)

I'd love to go to SEMA!! You have tickets to get in - I thought it was only open to vendors?

Thanks Kevin, wife booked trip to see the Northern lights and it has to be reasonably clear night to see them. Friggin weather reports are calling for rain all week :annoyed:. Hope it clears up enough to at least get a decent picture... have yourself a good time in Jamaica mon:rasta::proposetoast::cheers:. Be safe.
