I have yet to complete the maintenance required from the last Rubicon trip. Left on vacation right after that trip, and then had other projects that required my attention. But, I need a couple upgrades before I run it again.

I have a really good friend who has lived in Heber City for about 4 years now. She loves it there. I went there for a visit back in June. It's freakin beautiful. Hunting, fly fishing, off roading, golf, skiing. Amazing place. Housing was a little on the steep side. No worse, yet, than the Bay Area.

 

Love everybody here but there was nothing irrational about his feelings for the way this state is being run, and how it impacts an individual.

 

Ya, I've heard that SLC and surrounding areas have been seeing home prices rise significantly.

Some of the same things are happening in and around Boise.

Sounds like a lot of fun but I think I’m gunna go visit an old marine buddy up near Redding this weekend.

I don’t disagree with that direct example, but would disagree based on the “California isn’t China yet” idiocy.

Entitled to dislike or like the state and how it’s run (and by whom), but really.. when a person starts ranting and airing their grievances and then caps it off with an overly dramatic comparison to a communist country on the other side of the world.. it gets a little silly.

 

LOL, like the great sage David Lee Roth said, "Money can't buy you happiness, but it can buy you a yacht big enough to pull up right alongside it."

 

Then I would only warmly suggest you have a look at some the the Bills the gov has signed into law. And others that are being proposed. There are direct attacks on the Freedoms Anderson suggests he enjoys.

Have you seen the picture I took of my GSP yesterday. She looks like royalty. In reality, shes just very spoiled.

 

I may go pheasant hunting tomorrow with the above pictured spoiled mutt(Shes' incredibly good at finding birds). Anyone interested in going along, let me know.

I’ve spent more thumb energy than I initially committed to at this point. Gonna go plant some rice and update my diary.
