So this happened a little over a week ago...

    E2B9CD48-9248-4F8E-A4F9-8AB48DC574E4.jpg BE105387-1353-4A05-8F75-325BFA4792B7.jpg 488BD7CA-4D1D-445D-A3CF-FC21BBC51642.jpg

My dream truck, nearly finished with the mods I wanted, has been totaled. A piece of me has died. Thankfully there is insurance, but still. Frickin sucks.

If everyone walked away unharmed then be happy. It’s just stuff. Stuff can be replaced.

As others have said, having a nice truck means nothing if you are not around to drive it. Glad you are OK, OP.

And look at the bright side... you are getting a new truck now!

    ^^^ Talk about depressing...

@Cassidy91 - looks like the truck was smashed up pretty bad.

Hope everyone walked away from it.

You can always get another vehicle.

Looks like it will just buff out,JK
Thus the reason we have insurance. Might be a nice excuse for a 2020
Those mods are yours, just include stock part instead of mods

All of you are right, it is just a possession, a material thing. Everyone walked away fine which is the main thing. I was impatient and tried to pass someone on the right when I approached a semi that was going 30 or so because we were going up hill. Mostly mad at myself for being so stupid

Hoping no one was hurt. Feeling your pain, and sorry for your loss. This is legitimately one of my worst fears; some dickhead is going to run a red light texting and total my rig. I hope insurance does you good and you can get busy on 2.0.

I hope everyone involved are ok.

I sometimes wonder what happen to the additions on a similar case. Front crash, total loss.

Is it possible to remove the items after the crash? Camper shell, wheels, rock sliders, roof rack, lights, Spod etc, etc, etc.... list goes on.

My insurance goes up 20-25% for every 5k in extra parts.

Does anyone here ever consider this factors?

Sorry Dude, I hope any injuries heal soon. So you will have an opportunity to buy it back (cheap) and you might wanna repair it or part it out yourself. If it were me I would pull all of my mods off right away.
