There’s tons of options, but you can always use a hitch carrier.

I just made one using scrap aluminum plate I found at the local metal supply store, and a few bolt-on QR mounts.

I bolted a piece of 1" aluminum L channel to the back (using a couple of the quick release mount holes so it doesn't wobble. Then used some riv nuts and the cargo loops to bolt the sucker down.

All in, I'm betting I have less that $60 in this thing.

Looks pretty haggard but it's seen many many miles of mountain bikes and motorcycles back there. Works great.

I have a Giant Reign that fits in there with the tailgate up. Motorcycle does NOT fit with tailgate up, lol.

That second set of holes on the left side are from when I had this mounted to my 5-lug Xtracab.

Anybody have advice for multiple bikes? Especially when running a bed rack with RTT?

Can't help ya with the bed rack, but in my Nissan I do them left to right instead of front to back when I have multiple to carry. They seem to be easier to manage that way.

Yeah... unfortunately I can't do that. I may just try to make something that can hang the kid's off the side and mount the wife's and mine on the roof rack (once I get one that is....). Hey! That's just justification for why I need one, right?

I love my 1UP bike rack. Super strong, easy to use, and can accommodate 1-3+ bikes.

How does something like this work off road though? Seems like it would kill your departure angle...

no you are right, @Unchained 5150 mounts his bikes on the outside of his bed. You could check out his system if your trying to keep your departure angles.

A hitch mount rack or take my above pic (post #3) and mount that to the floor of the bed, rather than the front wall.

I have a doublecab, and my full suspension mountain bike fits with this rack and the tailgate up, but the handlebars do stick up past the roof line a bit, so not likely to fit with an RTT, even with one of the tall racks.

A couple of us here at DECKED have been using the Yakima "Hangover" all summer. You can get it in 4 or 6 bike versions. Keep all of your gear in your DECKED system and load plenty of bikes on the back.
