I thought I would ask here since there's alot of norcal peeps running the bamf shock relocate. I want to install the bamf shock relocate on my 3rd gen. I'm running scs sr8s (4.00bs) and km3 315/75/16. Will i need to run a spacer to clear the shocks? I know some people do at full stuff and some don't so just wanted to check.

I might’ve read that wrong internally, but it almost sounds sexual right now.

So, the answer is whatever you want baby.

I need to do the exhaust relocate, and then probably all new skids. Or at least modify the mid skid, which is steel, and has the canoe to accommodate the exhaust crossover. Since it's steel, it's in great condition, but it costs me two to three inches of clearance because of the canoe. The other two are aluminum, and while they are still holding up, they are heavily scarred, gouged, and dented. At the least, I'd replace those two. I need to go deeper on my CMC as I'm still rubbing a little. Which also means more pounding on the pinch weld, though I beat on that pretty good originally, I guess it could use a little more pounding. I'd like very much to replace the rear drive shaft with one that is more beefy, like @rob1208 did, with the old one as a spare. That seems like a very smart move, based on what happened to us on the Rubicon. Long term I need to rethink the Snug Top shell. It's been great, and exactly what I needed for dogs, and camping. But for wheeling, it's developing stress fractures in the back right corner near the rear window. No doubt due to the heavy side to side swaying on the rough trails. It all depends on whether or not I want to continue to put my truck to the extremes of the Slick Rock and Rubicon type trails. A soft topper would be a consideration. Or nothing, and install a bed rack for the spare, and fuel/water.

I’m on 285s with 4” backspacing and I don’t rub on passenger. I clocked the shock on driver a degree or two off and I rub barely at full stuff I need to fix it just haven’t had the time yet

Yes you do sir. Rubicon 2020, we'll see how long before @Fernando flakes on his own trip again.

I love my softtopper. You get the dry, semi protected storage of a shell but its super easy to remove when needed.

Hit the fields for some Chinese Chickens.
Slight breeze, but still dry out there, and the grass is 5 feet high in places. Worked my butt off to keep up with the dog.

Towards the end of the day, heading back to the truck, one bird dared us to put him on the dinner table. We did not oblige, however. We had already gotten two.

You could have gotten a half dozen with one pass in your truck.
