Get that money! Whoever you work for does not care about you enough if they want you to lose money for time worked. You did your due diligence and now it's time for them to do theirs by signing that dotted line.

The supervisors I worked for in the other shift signed the dotted line. My LT has to sign it now. This is bullshit. I'm all so pissed I'm seeing red and my temperature is rising

I bought the three pack as you save $6 per unit vs buying singly.

    https://www.amazon.com/Kimber-MFG-I...71294777&sprefix=kimber+pepper,aps,154&sr=8-5

So... I used to be a SWAT cop... And I've been blasted with one of these in training and it fucking sucks. I can kiiiiinda work through OC spray and can rock tear gas like it's my buddy's mom's enchiladas. But, this stuff takes you down.

It shoots out at 112mph (per the mfg.) and has a good range compared to other products. The product is thicker and sticks worse than honey. You can shoot it into the wind without fear of getting dosed. The only thing that I feel that hurts worse is bear spray, but bear spray is not as good as a self defense agent in my opinion as it typically is equipped with a fog nozzle.

She runs. What more can I ask for?
Yeah, it's a shitty thing to do and I'd def talk to someone over the LT as a "WTF mate?" kind of thing. I just meant legally through DOL and all that...
"The Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) has no provisions regarding the scheduling of employees, with the exception of certain child labor provisions. Therefore, an employer may change an employee's work hours without giving prior notice or obtaining the employee's consent (unless otherwise subject to a prior agreement between the employer and employee or the employee's representative)."
:notsure: I've been all over the DOL website lately, might end up filing a complaint over SCA benefits soon.

Those things don't really work when gummed up with tissue. You need the other stuff to get to clean bone.

If you want a fuckload of pain on your way out... Go ahead and try?

    Are you guys/gals union?

If we work more than the “normal” 37.5 we get paid straight time til 40 then time and a half over 40. They tried that bullshit PTO at 1:1 and the union had a big issue with that.

One of the nurses took a traveling job where Old Faithful is. I bought her a can of the strongest bear spray and also gave her this pic

My ambulance was parked in and my office was in the same building as the Old Faithful clinic. I might be able to drum up a pic somewhere.

My sarcasm isn't going over well tonight.

If I or anyone gets to the point you're using a wire saw on a person, it's to late.

Still should be black and white protocol/procedures when it comes to paying public safety overtime when they’re expected to stay over scheduled time. I’d fight for the cash money.

I think I’d be having that talk, but try and remain calm.

I sort of get what you’re saying. I’ve got OT from now til January. Even though we are being told no OT right now. We don’t have the staff to not have overtime. Yet, if no one shows to take my assignment I’m made to stay because management won’t do it. I legally can’t work more than 16 hours straight and am supposed to have 12 hours off between shifts. Doesn’t always happen though.

    Oh. Sorry.

But, not when you're wheeling with me. I've got a field shock trauma kit. We can do field transfusions and minor surgery.

Yeah I would be too and I have quit jobs before when witnessing my coworkers having not been paid OT for one reason or another. I would also mention that if your new LT wants to make a name for herself than she should get good at being truthfully good. Not cutting corners to make it appear as if costs are reduced at the expense of her upstanding coworkers.

Yeah... I keep one or two of them in the truck. If that's not enough, I've got a sig MPX behind the back seat.
