so I’ve bought everything I need to lift my 2019 Tacoma / bilstein 5100 with ome888 coils , headstrong aal, jba upper control arms new wheels and new nitto tires , looking for a shop I was recently quoted $600 from a local place in league city , I would love to do the install myself but would need some help from someone that has done a truck install before

Shawn, have you had any luck finding what you are looking for? I am in the Pearland area if you need any help. Also, where did you order your parts from? Just got my Tacoma a week ago and ready to throw the money at it

I am looking to give it a beefier look...not a fan of the stock look.

thanks! i went with OME suspension all around from marie @ headstrong offroad, 16" SCS ray10s with a coat of gold plastidip, and 285/75 falken wildpeaks

step 1 to getting the beefier look.. ditch the stock sport wheels.. i've always laughed at the wheels sports come with, they look like they came off a corolla. get you some proper wheels and a beefier tire. 265 will fit stock without any suspension mods.

how much did you have to add to your suspension to fit 285’s? Any trimming?

Looking around I think 285s are THE look tacoma wise...

sorry for the late reply! i dont always get on tw

i have a 2.5" lift and still get a little bit of rubbing but not bad, i live with it, only on full lock reverse backing our of driveways or when i'm wheelin. i trimmed the black plastic fender trim to help. for no rub, do the CMC

agreed 285 is the way to go

Looks great! How much did the lift set you back? What do you think of the ride quality?

I'm in El Lago, BTW. Howdy neighbor.

    It was around
800 for the shocks and struts , coil spring and add a leaf
450 for the jba upper control arms
    900 in tires
    800 in wheels
500 to install all and align
    $3450 total

it rides better/smoother than the trd sport stock suspension
It now has more body roll when turning with speed but it’s expected
