Issues using Apple Music on Stock Entune

Has anyone else had issues while playing music from their phone either through a cord/usb or through Bluetooth? Connectivity is always good but the volume seems so much lower than with the Radio or CD's. Example, to acheive a level 35 volume of music on FM radio, I would need at least 50 on Ipod/Iphone setting.

Have you turned the volume on your phone to MAX?

 

Once the phone is plugged in, you lose audio volume control on your phone. Everything is done through the stereo unit. I use Apple Music but I can't imagine that making any difference. Unless the music downloaded has a lower max volume to it. I'm not sure though.
