Got the drivers side all drilled out and started on the passenger. A bigger drill with a few batteries would've been nice or a corded one. Definitely going to need to get one before I try and do this in a scrap yard

Man was it being a bugger at the end. But I got it off. Super excited to attempt it in a scrapyard....

Been looking at intercoolers. I'm tempted to see if with a glass hood with a scoop maybe I can't fit a top mount IC. What do you guys think?

idk man. It’ll be tight. I’m honestly not familiar with how high the IC will sit on the top but it would definitely be badass if it did work.

Why top mount? I'll be doing a water cooled top mount but that's mostly because I won't have room in the front for an air intercooler. Not stoked that it's going to be going above the turbo soaking up heat but it's the only way I'm seeing things working for me. Not sure how different the clearances are between the 3rz and 5vz but there maybe an inch and a half of room there.

Well I'm looking at little clearance up front also. We'll see how it plays out once I get the 5vz in there
