2015 Tacoma TRD Sport

Was curious if anyone out there has this bed cover? I have the matte black finish and was wondering what others are doing to try to protect the finish. Manufacturer mentioned soap and water similar to washing the rest of the truck but I’m thinking there must be other solutions like a spray wax, WD40, etc. that will add additional protection. Appreciate any proven ideas or solutions that will protect but not change the nice black finish.
