I've been using Advics pads on my vehicles for a few years, and never had an issue, aside from the fact they don't come with new caliper clips and stuff where applicable, although it doesn't apply in this case anyway. They're not stupid expensive and in some cases can be pretty cheap, and while they're not as easy to find as some options, I don't drive enough to make it an issue, and if I did I'd probably keep a set on a shelf. I've got a set of Akebono ASPs waiting to go on, but it's my 1st time trying them and I only bought them cuz I had a chance to get a great price on them.

I've been using Napa/Raybestos coated rotors with good results as well, although this time I'm going to try Advics rotors. They're about the same cost as other decent rotors, but US-made... I'm not a snob about domestic products, but I give them the nod when they make sense, and with my experiences with their pads I'm happy to give them a shot.

Toyota original parts for me especially when it comes to brake rotors and pads. Anything other than original Toyota part is a hit or miss IMO.

I went with Power Stop drilled/slotted and Z36 pads as I wanted some extra stopping help.

Only $189.29 now for front rotors and pads. Clean running and they do help and no negatives as some will want to post on the drilled/slotted rotors. Most pads do have a burn in procedure that must be done to heat the rotors and pads to burn them in - read about that at the installation and break-in guide on the site link above.
