Well as the saying has it, nothing goes together good. here are some issues I am having. See pics. Found out the control box on top of the winch hits (pic 1), thus can not mount it. How are people mounting the Warn VR's to the Predator bumper's? I do not want my control box to be sticking out in the open (pic 2), I want it mounted so you can't see it, but seems like there is no room for that to happen? Also I can not mount it in the 3 pic, due to my arm not being able to reach in to pull the plug, to install the winch remote. Plus with the winch control sticking out, that looks like it might hit the radiator. P.S. the control box also is to wide, that it is to close to the edge of the metal to even drill the 4 holes and mount it on the top of the bumper in the photo below. Any help/ thoughts would be helpful. Thanks
@chuckers , @cbechtold ,@quetzal ,@RelentlessFab. Really would like to get this bolted up on the truck soon....

    Replied back to your PM.
control pack just needs extended wiring and remote mount under the hood of the truck.

How did you mount the control box tho? Like with the 4 screw's? Or some type of adhesive? Thanks Cory

Ran into similar issues, final answer for me is remote mount under the hood as well. I haven’t done it yet but I’m going to just make a plate steel mounting bracket the same as the one for my air compressor and use the 4 bolts.

How do you have yours mounted right now to get you through? I want to make a good bracket for it maybe next summer. I just would like some idea's on how to mount it firm enough to get through this hunting season. I am only using my truck for hunting season (about 2 months) then it will be put up for winter time (keeping the salt off of it. I suppose I can make the mount over winter for the winch control box. Just looking at some quick option's to get it mounted, as in like 2 weeks hunting season is here. Thanks

Sorry for the late reply man. I just made a bracket for it. Just a couple bolts keeping it secured where it is.

Been doing a lot of work recently (not work on the truck, just regular boring work). I did get the bumper installed today. My 2Awg welding wire to relocate the winch control box, and swapped the steel 3/8th cable out for 20,500 lbs synthetic winch rope. Love how light weight the rope is VS steel cable (that was a huge seller to me). Before and After pictures!!

Pulled stock (rusted) front bumper, then unbolted curved front bumper support(not sure the name of it), then had to unbolt part of the front of the frame (pic 4). From there, we had to thread the 2 AWG wire up though a good spot to the winch controller/ route the negative battery cable along part of the frame/ up though to the battery( pic 6). From there it was a lot of test fitting/ sanding the bolt mounting holes down a little here and there due to the thick Line-X. After it was on the truck, we had to trim the plastic splash guards/ liners. Then had to wire in the button led turn signals, and put the skid plate back on. Glad the bumper is on! Now just have to finish wiring up the winch controller/ mounting it, and should be good to go!!

@quetzal, do you have a build thread? If so, a link would be nice. I would like to follow it!

Did a quick mod a few days ago. Dome light mod. Got rid of the stock dome light, and threw a 6000K (6 led chips) bulb. Night and day difference, lol. Had to grind the bump off the new led bulb to make it work (it was to long to fit). With mods you always have to make stuff work, and this was not exception. Did not have to change anything on the truck, just the bulb. First 2 pictures are stock bulb, next 2 are new bulb, and 5th picture shows what I had to do to make the new bulb fit!!
