Fair enough. Thanks for the post. I’ll poke around the color options. Still not sold on decals but I like that more than anything else I’ve seen so far in what searching I’ve already done.

    Absolutely.

    Phase 1: Suspension

Rims - can’t find the link for the actual ones but these are close. My guy has the ones I want saved already. I’m having a brain cramp..

    Phase 2:
    Cargo system

With three small cargo containers one large, two movable rack bars, two side lights, four fuel cans and a bunch of other stuff. Fully loaded.

    Cab rack

Safety kit - mounts compatibly with the Leitner system
    https://outerlimitsupply.com/product/6000-series-first-aid-kit/

WilcoOff Road Offset hitch gate for the spare.

CBI off-road T3 front bumper with 5000lb recovery winch and light bar.

CBI off-road T3 high clearance rear bumper

18 gallon secondary fule tank mounted in the OEM spare tire location. Fed via dash activated toggle switch into the OEM tank for refueling without stopping.

MOLLE seat covers in black for both front seats.

Combination lock gun safe for the center console with three clips and one 1911.

    Rotopax canisters for water. 2.

Roof top tent platform - still making decisions.

Adds a lot of weight fully loaded up but, I’ve done the math. I can go 800 miles or 14 days without restocking anything on a good primary load out. Icon system adds over 400 pounds to the load capacity. Still considering engine mods.

Is the secondary fuel tank a custom thing? Sounds pretty cool.

I'm a less is more guy generally, the classic retro 50's-60's flame jobs are kinda tired and usually don't have the same effect on modern vehicles as they do on old iron.
But that actually looks like its on fire and is very cool, just for soemone else not me. I'm still dull

Yeah it’s a custom unit but you can get them as normal replacement tanks for other vehicles if you size them right and do a retrofit mount with your off-road guys. They do sell DOT approved versions though if you don’t want to risk blowing your truck up. You add a fuel neck high and tight inside the wheel well near the usual fueling spot. Then just install and wire in an independent fuel pump and sender into the new Aux tank and put the fuel-out leg of that pump through the sidewalk of the OEM fuel neck on the primary tank. Best to do that somewhere near the top of the neck and on the top side of the neck to minimize the risk of water intrusion if you splash around. It’s obviously slightly more involved than this and this isn’t a tutorial but, done right, and you won’t have to worry about tripping the fuel vapor warnings built into the OEM systems. Then you just flip a switch when you’re at about 1/4 left on the primary tank and watch the meter increase as you drive. You have to make sure you don’t fill it beyond the slightly-less-than-full mark so you don’t fuck something up or stress the components. I typically let it ride at half full and flip the transfer switch on for 30 sec intervals when it dips below 1/4. Or if I’m doing an out and back, I run the outer leg of the trip on the primary tank until at or just slightly below 1/4 tank is left on the primary. Then stop and fill while watching it the whole time. That way I know I have more than enough to not get stranded going back.

It really fucks with your passengers when it’s been like five or six hours and you haven’t stopped for fuel. Or when they see that you’re way too low on fuel to make it back and somehow the truck just keeps going.

I remember stickers. Elementary school was fun. We’d get stickers if we did well on tests. We’d have in class competitions to see who could get the most stickers each week. If you’d lose, you were a “dumb butt”. I was a “dumb butt” a couple of times, but usually, I was the fucking sticker king. I used to cover my Trapper Keeper & lunch box with all of my stickers to show off & brag to all of the “dumb butts”. Those were the days... My truck came with stickers. I took them off because i’m past that stage. Now, people refer to stickers as graphics, but they’re still just stickers. I guess it makes them feel a little less childish about it. Grown men & stickers. That’s funny.
