    Hi everyone,

    I'm new to TW and new to Tacomas. I've had a couple of 2wd mazda pickups and a 2nd gen 4runner. It's only been a week, but loving the DCLB so far. looking forward to trips to Tahoe in the winter without having to put chains on for the snow again. already using it for house/yard duty, too. beats loading stuff in a hatchback!

    Congrats, Are you going to put a topper on for the Tahoe Trips? I've been at sugar bowl and seen snow piled over peoples bed rails before, they needed a shovel to get to stuff at the bottom.

    thanks! I had toppers on my mazdas and really liked having that for camping and general security. The tacoma came with a locking rolling tonneau, which lets me open the tailgate without having to open the tonneau, but i'd much rather have a shell.

    scouring craigslist because i don't have a lot of money after this purchase for a new topper (unless i can convince my other half, lol)
