The gray will be the DCSB & Acess Cab (Gray has aftermarket suspensions and larger tires) The white is the DCLB. The measurements don't lie.

I'm sure it's not, i wheel the piss out of my truck....going to moab tonight, and never once have I had or seen an issue with someone getting caught there.

RCI makes good stuff, the sliders will do fine. But you have to wheel to know

Dude, I said I wasn’t as gnar! Crawling isn’t my thing. But that’s a staged Jeep route, no? One where they move obstacles around to make it challenging?

My question was how important the extra inch or two is. Clearly some people around here really need an extra inch or two....

Just 5” more on each side of the sliders will do.

I don't even know why I'm hopping in here, but I'm bored so here we are.

OP, that is the standard length for pretty much every slider on the market. Some may be a hair longer, but that's a negligible difference and won't have any real world effect.

I like to hwheel and have never had an issue with those areas.

I like the sliders a lot. It just seems like there is no good reason NOT to have them 4" longer in the front and back. When you come down off a rock or log, I would prefer it transitions immediately from tire to slider vs. dropping into that gap. I think the risk is something getting hung up in there and preventing you from being able to back up or go forward.

I have 33.5 skinnies, unless you are running 37's or bigger I can't see how the extra length could interfere with suspension articulation or steering.

If u were being objective, you'd agree that those pics are at least a bit misleading. I don't even have a dog in the fight so it doesn't matter to me one way or the other.

I have a new set of RCI sliders for my Gen2 DCSB on my garage floor, I have to agree with the OP, after measuring them they are shorter than I expected. I disagree with the aggressive fan behavior, it shouldn't be an expected thing when ordering something sold as a sub-model specific accessory that you need to get measurements to have it properly fit your truck. I won't know HOW disappointed I am until I see them on my truck but I think full coverage of the body wheel well to wheel well was a reasonable expectation.
