Just going down FS roads your frame is going to flex a decent amount with all of that weight hanging past the axle. Just look in your mirrors at the bed bouncing when you're on a rough road.

With frequent stops, and another longer stop for lunch, it took us several hours before we finally set off on our final approach to Blackhall Mountain. In the end, it was another long climb - the summit, at 10,974 ft - just missing the mark we'd achieved earlier in the day.

But the craziest part of the day had already happened. You can read all about it in

Your driveshaft will reach. Might need a 1" DS spacer but I doubt it. The offset is to the passenger side because LCs have their front and rear diffs inline to make the massive AWD/4WD case has room for its reduction box.

So no vibe issues with having the double offset driveline?

That's just the shop being lazy and not removing the adhesive from the last balancing. My wheels look like this as well where they just scraped off the old weights and balanced from there.

That’s what I thought. Just figured it was weird the opposite wheel has ten wheel weighs and this one has two.

Our t case drops the rear and front to the passenger side, no trans tunnel humps necessary that way. But you shouldn't have vibes with the 80 axle, no one else seem to have had any

    Right on

This really sounds like a good way to go. Now, how hard is it to find these things and how much $$$ is this going to cost is the question lol

This guy is swapping in an LS in but he kept the 80 drivetrain so you can see how everything is offset from center. Its a weird setup but all LCs have been like this.

    35748957_1957272890970259_1226928206343307264_n.jpg

Anyway, you should be able to find an 80 axle in a junkyard. I see em on car-part all the time.

Ok... I'm convinced. I'm going to start poking around looking at yards, for an axle.

I wish the damn yards would respond to their email parts inquiries... I may have already sent an inquiry to a yard in Sacramento, Denver, and Phoenix
