AB02C185-01E4-40DB-B048-86CCAF7157F7.jpg I put in a pic because some
Ppl don’t get the glare I’m talking about. Look at the front hood and quarter panel. It’s like that at certain times of the day when driving into the sun that sport hood scoop let’s off a massive glare. I have the metallic gray and not sure how the matte black would look? And the top scoop and the raised hood or just scoop. Not a fan of decals due to the fact if I remove it later on I’m sure they’ll be a difference in shade from exposed to sun vs covered and how the residue might effect the paint underneath, meaning it’s black and brutal so Cali everlasting sun will heat that area up a lot.

Experience with this or product info is appreciated. So many mods, brands to choose from, material choices.
I know white looks sick with black scoop. And black have pics of metallic gray with black scoop. I still on the fence.

maybe I just trying to justify another mod
    Thx

I peeled my black vinyl off around my scoop (white color). I'd rather deal with the glare than take a chance on paint issues long term. But I'm crazy and debadge everything...lol

There are lots of options on the forum if you use the search function, and some on etsy, googling would probably work as well.

It actually might. Someone should shop that onto a scooped hood. It would either be a huge win. or total fail.

This is odd. I have an MGM OR and swapped for a scoop hood. Never have I seen a glare. I never saw one with the stock hood either.

it is odd. But there enough YouTube and online complaints to know depending on your color and direction of travel and location of your area it can give off a mean ass glare

I don’t this red or cement or white does. But the metallic flakes in my grey does

Well saying the sun is bright is also subjective to the individual.

Ya know. The one dude posted “odd” his doesn’t glare. I’m thinking he has a 2019 and after a couple years of washes and plenty of waxes you start to get very fine “swirl” marks that only show up on darker colors when the sun hits it right. I think that is part of the issue to.
