Anyone have one? Moving next weekend to a house that was given to my wife and I have no where to store my tools my four wheeler or lawn mower. Lowe’s has a 10x12 which would work for now for roughly 600$. I know it won’t be as solid as something high end but mainly looking to keep my stuff out of the weather. Something that won’t be easy to break into or move by hand. I do not have a concrete slab to put one on as of now so the floor would be gravel. Not sure what the buildings weigh but don’t want something multiple people can pick up and get into. Ideas? Thoughts?

I have one that's about 15 years old. The doors are falling apart and part of the top roof piece blew off during the last wind storm. It has been this way for a while, we just haven't replaced it yet.

We will get a 8 x 12 Tough Shed pretty soon.

If you are handy you are better off spending the extra two days to build one. 10x12 is easy enough for 1 person. Spend the extra up front time and level some solid blocks to start on and everything else will go easy. You can ice and water the roof and leave it like that until you get a chance to shingle. I am not a fan of t-111 but it goes up quick and looks fine when stained and lasts a long time. Make a lumber list and pay for delivery to save time. Just one man's opinion.

I had an 8' x10' vinyl shed for over 15 years and it was very solid. I remember it was around $700 back then, but was well worth it.

My neighbor had a steel shed that literally blew away during super storm Sandy- lifted off the foundation and rolled down the street- they are relatively lightweight structures.

I built a custom wood 10 x 12 wood framed/ sheathed shed with steel roof last year, but was well over $2k when all was done- also well worth it imo.

I use Craigslist from time to time, so I checked your area and found this- maybe a quick fix until you get settled in, fwiw

    Good luck whatever you decide.

Those metal sheds are a waste of money.

I agree, unless you can put one where wind won't affect it. I put one up inside a steel building that is open on one end. Figured it would serve as lockable (?) storage. Seems to work well there.

I had metal sheds at 3 locations. 2 rotted out from the bottom up in under 5 years, one was ok as it had galvanized panels.

At another location I had 2 aluminum sheds for 27 years. Like new when I sold this spring.

You could probably build a wood one for half the price.
