    It's likely a copy/derivative of the mid-engined Toyota van from the 1980s, with a refreshed front end, but that particular one is made by a Chinese mfr.

    This is one of the best looking Camry body styles in my opinion! In a world where the majority of these cars were beaten to shit, it's always nice to see one in okay condition that has all four factory hubcaps!

    Here is a list of Toyota vehicles I really want pictures of “in the wild”. By “in the wild” I mean not rotting in a junkyard, and I would prefer that the vehicle is registered for use on public roads.

    • 1980s Toyota Tercel wagon (4WD preferred, but will accept FWD; FWD is actually rarer)
    • Pretty much any Tercel of any year, honestly
    • Toyota Starlet (any year)
    • Toyota Van (any year and configuration)
    • Any Toyota Camry older than 2002
    • 1989-1991 Camry All-Trac (AWD)
    • 1983-1986 Camry
    • 1991-1997 Previa (especially stick shift models)
    • Any year Paseo, especially a coupe (already have a ‘97 convertible floating around here somewhere)
    • Any original non-BMW Supra
    • Any new 2020 Supra that isn’t at a dealer (only photographed one so far)
    • Any JDM Toyota
    • Any Corolla older than 1998 (I still take pictures of the 1998-2002s, but these are still fairly common)
    • ANY Toyota older than 1981 (that’s the first year American-spec cars got the 17-digit VINs still in use today)

    Years ago, I got perma-banned from a Ford Explorer forum (Serious Explorations) for asking members who owned 1991-1994 Explorers to share pictures of their trucks for me to use in a Ford truck tribute video. Unlike TW, this other forum banned you based on your IP address so you couldn’t just start a new profile. Luckily, I got access to the site owner’s email address. I emailed this guy, and within hours I got a response; the site owner was absolutely dumbfounded as to why I was banned, apologized, and promptly lifted the ban. I haven’t been on that site since 2012 or so because I don’t own a Ford Explorer and it is of little use to me.
