Bought my Tacoma with 31k on the dash. Installed tacomabeast headlights but in the process of doing my own retrofit. Haven’t done much of anything else as of yet. Installed wireless charger and new bedside decals. After retrofits I’m doing the power rear sliding window mod. Thanks for looking

Really happy with these lights.... morimoto 6500k set from the retro source

Could do another set in half the time now and can take my bumper and headlights off in 2 minutes.

Pros : amazing light output! Customizable, you get what you pay for

Cons : i Think I should have went with the 5500k and people probably think I’m a dick for having such bright lights?

 

You get them sealed up like you wanted?

 

Yup took them back apart and cleaned it up a bit. Also the most annoying part was getting them aimed right. I still think it’s could be tweaked but it’s close

 

Working on the power rear window. Here’s some progress so far

 

Finished my power rear window mod finally after some dumb mistakes. Purchased a dasaita head unit and wrapped it silver to match the oem interior my truck has.

The unit overall makes the trucks interior look much newer. It works pretty well and livens up the speakers in the car as if you had the aux plugged in. The car play works well but on start up automatically tries to read the phone and has trouble I usually have to back out and reload the app. The system is quick to the touch and runs pretty smooth. Time will tell if it was really worth the purchase or not. There are 0 and below days here in Indy quite often.

 

You like the retros better than the Tacomabeast lights?
