LED "Stealth" Mounting Locations

Cali Raised has two cool products for mounting LED bars, but they mount the LED bar in different locations:

Anyone see any pros/cons of using each?
- security?
- wide light being blocked?
- over heating?
- protection from rocks?

seems like the protruding one could hurt re-sale value if you remove the bar?

 

Cali Raised wants $60 (California).

By comparison, Rago Fab wants $85 (Texas).

 

@CaliRaisedLed will the forward mounting brackets only work for single row LED bars? Or will they work for KC 30''.

I'm sorry to make a long post about this, but am hoping to put the information in one location so people don't have to make 100 calls like I've been doing hahah!

how much light are you losing on that bar because it's behind the grill (i.e. bounce back)?

No problem! It really had to say. Usually, all LED bars are so powerful it will shine no problem through the plastic. I would say it is no huge notable difference.

 

Spend the money and support Rago. I purchased my stealth mounts from them and have been extremely impressed. They have fantastic customer service as well.

 

My vote is for Caliraised. I had their led light bar on my 08 and reused the same light bar on my 2019. Just had to purchase new brackets. I like the stealth mount. Have had good service and their products have stood the test of time for me. That is whyI have stuck with them.

I wish someone would make mounts for the front bumper to either mount a small light bar or individual pods. Not everyone needs or wants the long bar.

 

Then buy this along with the Stealth mounts to use as a space between the two. Then you can mount a single pod or whatever.

I have 2 (EA) 10" bars that surround my license plate. Used a piece of aluminum like below and had it gap the two bars behind the license plate. Very easy to do.

This is why I support Rago as they actually helped me out with my idea. I reached out to the other company and they just told me they did not offer an.

 

Ive thought about something like this but prefer a bracket that mounts to the front bumper bar that could be place any where along the front. Would like to mount some S2 Pros in the space between bumper and grill. I have Rago low pro ditch light brackets they make a good product.
