Just got past the 1500 mile mark on my 2019 TRD OR double cab 4x4 and I have noticed the past few startups when pulling out of my parking spot that I hear a sound when I am turning sharp for the first time of a trip. This noise only happens for the first turn after ignition then it goes away. It sounds like a camera shutter, almost like a click. I attached a link to youtube below. The noise is at the very end of the clip.

Let me know what you think. I have an appointment with the dealership Friday, but would like to know if others have had this issue. Truck is completely stock.

Mine does it too, I wonder if it has anything to do with the security (alarm) system.

Next time you get in your truck, put your hand on the door lock and see if it moves when you get going.

It could be the abs module doing a self check.

Had my truck in for the 10,000 mile service, (only have 3400 on the clock) today. Service manager looked at my truck himself and told me it is the ABS system. He said when the speed reaches 3mph or so the system makes the pop or clunk as I call it. The system goes to sleep when the key is off then boots back up after you start the truck and after it reaches whatever speed, 3mph it will pop/clunk when you 1st drive off. I just never realized it done it pulling straight forward or backward until he showed me. He sounded like he knew what he was talking about so I'm fine with it.
