Clunk Noise On New Tacoma

    Yeah I guess some trucks the sound is more noticeable than others. I'm not going to worry to much more about it myself.

    Had my truck in for the 10,000 mile service, (only have 3400 on the clock) today. Service manager looked at my truck himself and told me it is the ABS system. He said when the speed reaches 3mph or so the system makes the pop or clunk as I call it. The system goes to sleep when the key is off then boots back up after you start the truck and after it reaches whatever speed, 3mph it will pop/clunk when you 1st drive off. I just never realized it done it pulling straight forward or backward until he showed me. He sounded like he knew what he was talking about so I'm fine with it.

    I’ve isolated it to the ABS module. It does it every single time after the initial start up and drive.
