Show off your aux fuse panels.

This is from a 1st gen, part of my dual battery setup with a Blue Sea Systems Automatic Charging Relay. Its basically a smart relay that senses when theres a charge it combines both batteries, when theres discharge (from the winch or starter) it isolates the batteries so theres always one for cranking. You can also manually combine the batteries with a switch.

 

Very clean, I do electrical work for a living so I can appreciate this

Hi, I’m Looking for a semi ballsy blade fuse panel that has room for 6 or 8 relays and at least as many fuses. Anyone know of blocks that hold several standard relays?

Thought this would be easy to find.

I made my own bracket that holds 6 relays and the 12 fuse blue sea with breaker. I had to mount it on the passenger side because the super charger doesnt leave much room on the driver side.

 

Appears you ran the battery cable in front of the motor on top of the radiator. Is that right?

That is correct. I just got it all installed last night so I will run my wires that go into the cab alone the factory wiring harness on the firewall and then into the cab.

 

To save myself the headache of scrolling through more pages. I just ordered the paranoid mount does anyone know the bolt sizes for that by chance. I thought they were 8x1.25. I know I read it on here, I just can’t find it. It's a second gen.

 

they are m8 1.25pitch. but i just threw 2 in your box, so you should be good

Here’s my DIY bracket made out of a 22gauge sheet of steel. I honestly thought it would be too flimsy but it seems to be holding up just fine. Realized after I mounted everything the fuse box was too close to the side of the truck to let wires lead out so still got some fixing to do. But anytime I can almost replicate something somebody else sells, I’m happy.

Started with my "temporary junction box" (2 1/2 years temporary!) I have two other wiring locations inside the cab, but this is for my front bumper KC's, overhead Off-road lights, back up lights and front camera connections:



5 Circuits and 6 fuses with 3 relays. I found a decent enough build it yourself small box:

Untangled the mess from the existing junction box, and soldered up all the connections. Tested it and it all works...good thing I have a meter!



Made final feed connections, then wrapped, bundled and built a small bracket for mounting the new Relay/Fuse Box:

Finally finished the accessory cables. No issues with the ground bussbars mounted to the RTMR.

Still have a few more items on the checklist but almost complete. This has been one heck of a time consuming project... looking forward to wrapping this up.
