Maybe you should edit the thread title so folks will stop giving Atlanta suggestions for you since you're actually gonna be over 100 miles away.

If you go there, try their peach cobbler. They're famous for peaches.
See what I did? It looks easy but it's not.

I agree, amazing food. I try to never miss eating at a Pappadeauxs when traveling in the south. There's actually 4 in the Atlanta area.

    Like, so many.
Kinda depends what you're into. Six Flags is great if you like roller coasters. They have a cool zoo and a great aquarium. You might could catch a Falcons game. The night life is pretty strong too.

Remedial spelling course? Then again, it’s the South, wouldn’t matter.

I live in ATL. You know what you're gonna do when you come to ATL? Sit in traffic.

    Lots and lots of traffic.

If you’re in the area around Xmas, Callaway gardens is an amazing place to visit. It’s great year round but their Christmas festivities are quite nice and begin early November. Fantasy in lights is one of the best Xmas light shows I’ve ever seen or heard of.

Atlanta is so big though there’s something for everyone. I’m sure if you dig deep enough you can even find nearly anything you can imagine in this area. Hit up a hot local club/bar and ask questions. You’d be amazed!

I live close to Cumming, Ga and work in Buckhead. The commute is brutal, 38 miles takes me hour and 45 minutes. But while in town, many cool places to eat. Fat Matts rib shack on Piedmont has great lunches, Killer Burger speaks for itself also on Piedmont. Vortex in little 5 points alone with Little Bombay ( indian food). Plenty of other cool places to hit while in town. Heading north to Helen has been mentioned in this thread. What ever ya do, avoid getting food in the city of Helen. Over priced and not so tasty. My wife is a food service director, she had other words for the local eateries in Helen. Glenda,s in Cleveland is decent. Yohan burger has the best biscuits, it is on your left driving out of cleveland towards Helen. We are near there every weekend, we have a small cabin off Duncan Bridge road. Enjoy your visit.
