Knock in steering column

    I have this same knock in the front end. I have isolated it to the joint through the firewall. All the universals are tight. But the shaft chucks back and forth in the firewall.

    I have a similar feel. It almost feels like some dampener or something when I go over bumps. I didn't think of it as a big deal. My Work suzuki SX4 is much worst

    My 09 TRD Offroad Dbl Cab is in for an oil change and also having the knock in the steering column looked at. Its been about 4 hours and they have not located where the issue is. Will keep you all posted on the outcome. :rolleyes:
