I just bought me a 2019 (built Aug 2019) SR5 double cab lwb v6 on Saturday. Love it. It was a bare-bones fleet order that didn't get picked up. It's got an Entune Plus head unit but it doesn't run the app. Oh well, I have bluetooth and Scout gps, and Waze runs on the phone just fine. I'm kinda curious that the back bumper is chrome rather than Super White like the body. There's no other big chrome pieces on it.

My first question is about steps. I like their look better than running boards, except I want three steps each side with the last one at the front of the bed. Unfortunately, the structure there doesn't permit stock add-on steps. Anyone have a solution?

Welcome to TW. Congrats on the new wheels.

Entune sucks, so you're not missing anything there. As for the chrome, Toyota seems to love it - so just like the rest of us, you'll figure out how to change it and get rid of it. An easy fix for the chrome bumper is a set of Bumpershellz. That'll do the trick if you're going for an OEM look without swapping the bumper.

I'll let others chime in on the steps.

Rough Country makes a three-step nerf bar for the Tundra and two-step nerf bars for our trucks. You might reach out and see if they can make one with the third set.

I don’t mind the chromey plastic covers—they seem durable enough for backing up into snow and bushes and stuff, which I do on purpose and sometimes on accident!
