Hey guys, last week the wife and I decided to trade in our tacoma and get a Tundra. 2020 SR5 TRD Sport. We started to need the bigger interior size (crewmax) and more towing capability. It's been a great past couple years with my tacoma (14 DCSB 4x4 V6) I loved that little truck and wish i could have them both. But the Tundra is a whole other beast that i'm excited to work on.

Want to say thanks to everyone on here as you guys have been a huge help and I learned so much just by asking stupid questions or lurking on the page and researching my own answers.

I won't be a stranger and I'll still be getting on here!

    Thanks again!

Will do. I have no doubts on the Tundra. Only reason we stuck with Toyota instead of going to any of the other big 3's. Some of the technology isn't there like the others and the fuel mileage is atrocious but the 5.7 is tried and true.

Very nice. If I were to go full size it would be a tundra. Good luck. How do you like Tundra so far?

Thanks! It's great. It's definitely a bigger truck lol. But at least with the keyless entry/push button start and apple car play, it's starting to feel more modern. And the ride quality is a lot more refined and feels solid (thanks to the sway bar from TRD Sport). I don't necessarily live in a city, more suburbs, so getting around town isn't a hassle at all.

I personally love it. I like the smart access too where i can leave my keys in my pocket at all times and never take them out. butttt...I'm not a big fan of all of the safety features like Brake assist and lane departures. I've turned all of those off. My wife has them on her '16 Accord and loves them. I despise them. It's too much and too complicated. I just want to have the responsibility of driving my own vehicle.

My family recently picked up a Tundra. That truck has some get-up and go. They mildly complain about the mileage if anything. Otherwise it's such a roomy and comfortable truck. I really would've gone for it in place of my 14' Tacoma except I didn't need the size or space (yet). I wish I had the power that thing has though. Plus I would've needed to lift the Tundra fairly high to clear my adventures. I'm sure you're loving the truck.
