2019 - Tacoma JBL head unit crashing/looping

Anyone in the group recently experiencing weird Bluetooth behavior? my head unit related issue started right when iOS 13.1 was released and now when connected to Bluetooth with any iPhone 10 (or newer)my head unit crashes and restarts. If I remain paired this will continue to loop until my ride ends. Took it to the dealer and ultimately got an L - being told I “either wait until Toyota releases a patch” or wait until iOS releases another update. Any recommendations/thoughts? I found that being hardwired basically is the only temporary solution I could find short of wearing AirPods. Ironic that Shortly after arriving home - I received another call that 2 more customers were complaining about the same issue.

 

Sounds like your radio is reading some sort of coding command thats on your phone/display/connection ID causing it to loop or restart as the command is probably not valid. Similar to the issue alot of Mazda owners have.
