    Dreading tomorrow, and next week... Tis that time of the year to start using up vacation days, and my co-worker is taking tomorrow and all of next week off. ARGH!

    And then he's taking off 11/14 all the way through Thanksgiving off... and then 3 more days in December.

    I'm taking off the last two weeks of December, and then still have about 6 vacation days left that I need to use before then.

    Hey everyone! I just wanted to share this. I have a 2017 TRD Off-Road DC with 61,000 miles on it. This past weekend I noticed a leak inside, near the back window, behind the seats.

    I suspected it was the dreaded 3rd brake light leak. I took it to the dealer yesterday. Sure enough, it's the 3rd brake light leaking. Dealer told me it would be about $325 to fix. I mentioned there's a TSB on it. They confirmed that there is, but you have to be in the 3yr/36,000 mile warranty period for the TSB to be honored. I told them I have an extended warranty. They called the warranty company(Portfolio). It's not covered.

    At this point I wasn't too happy so I called Toyota Corporate. After explaining what's going on they put me on hold and called the dealer. In the end, Toyota agree to pay for the part($150) and I had to pay the labor.

    The reason I bring this up is for anyone that may be in the 3yr/36,000 mile window soak your 3rd brake light and see if it leaks. Get it fixed before the warranty period ends. Such a hassle!

    Inspection complete.
    Passed
    However there were at least 5 guys that came over to look at the bottom of the truck to see a Tacoma without rust.
    They took lots of pictures asked questions.
    A SHOUT OUT TO MATT FOR THE FLUID FILM.
