    I've been working in Laredo for the last few months and I finally was able to get my truck down here from Missouri. I've been looking for some places to go camping while I'm here and was wondering if you had any suggestions. I have no issue driving 2 to 3 hrs to get there. Possibly more if people joined me.

    It's outside of the 2-hour range, but so is the coastline.

    I highly recommend Big Bend, but the coast is also less than 3 hours away.

    Yep, but, worth it.

    Used to travel to Cotulla, and Laredo from Corpus for some service calls.....

    Personally, I prefer to live on the Coast, and travel elsewhere.....

    Speaking of which, looks like a road trip home for the Holidays...
    And at least of those days will be spent on the natl seashore.... just because....

    I been an on-and-off member of TW for 10 years, mostly for trouble shooting minor things and mods on my 2010 sport long bed... never been really active..

    just recently been doing a lot of maintenance work on my truck, and it reminded me how much I love my truck!! So I thought id lookup and connect with any fellow South Texas Taco owners and keep that love alive.

    So, I found this tread and as I type this post I’m getting a full detailed, wax and polish job on my Taco and I will introduce you all to it with some pics later..
