the bed bars (is that what they are called?) is not something you see on many Tacomas! i like and approve of them

1995 2.7L. 115K miles. Manufactured 08/95. Love this baby!

 

saw one of these color reg cabs locally a few months ago at auto parts store, i think it was a 5 lug though and basically rotted bad through and through on topside, rockers, etc.

 

Here's my '96. Door jamb sticker says 9/95. I never posted her up cause I thought the consensus was that she wasn't a true '95.

Wow, thanks man. It's taken me 15 years to get to this point, but yeah, she's got just about everything I ever planned on doing. Wish I could keep her for another 15 years.

 

i remember the good old days of 99c gallon fuel and taking my 95 truck in for dealer service and seeing the sharp new '96s on the lot. I wanted one bad but was just a bit out of my reach at the time and throughout 1996

 

Back in 96 I was driving a 79 ram charger. I guess I've always had a thing for old trucks.

 

do you have the sunroof cover and what color and if you know where to get one

 

Soooo my first gen is a early 95. I can’t even call it a 95.5 build date in door jamb is 3/95. Does anyone know when the production started. BTW no rust issues it’s a GA. & TN. Truck. Right now it’s getting a make over, head gasket fixed ex. Valve leak etc... I’m thinking about some rancho quick lifts for this old thing. Any opinions?

Here’s my 95.5. Built 4/95 with 460k miles. Old motor lasted till about 420k. Daily driver/ i70 ski chalet/ occasional trail rig if my landcruiser is broken..
