OK, that's sound logic. With a more detailed explanation, no transmission damage would result. But... The OP read the trans fill procedure and decided it was beyond his skill level. Keep in mind, he already screwed up the most basic of maintenance operations. Well, 2nd to changing the cabin air filter. So, sometimes it's better to pay the piper than dig a deeper hole.

I used to read posts on a locksmith forum. A guy posted that he bought a very high end safe at an auction without the combination. The kind of safe you would find in a jewelry store. He was asking how to get it open. Against the experts advice, he decided to go at it himself. 1st, he busted the dial off and took a punch and pounded the shaft with a punch and hammer. He was totally surprised that he couldn't see anything in the hole. Then he got out his cutting torch and cut the hinges off. Of coarse he never got it open.

I love threads that go sideways! It's always interesting to watch them turn toward something totally unrelated!

It's 1 of those don't touch the handle, use your forearm to open the door, things, on a door that has a latch, so you have to turn the handle with your hand to get out.

Isn't that what TP is for? Or shirt sleeves at least. McDonalds toilet stalls have nothing to do with oil change screwups last time I looked! Now it's crackheads!! This is getting weird!
