I really liked how the bird CHOOSES to stay or go.

I guess you could call out that. Just getting them off the road, hydrated, feed if they’ll eat, and to the right care. If they’re injured I do my best to prevent further injury. They’re awesome animals.

Grandpa was a trapper most of his life in west tx and never had 4wd.
Said if you need 4wd , you don’t know how to drive

 

Thats awesome. When i was a kid we had a dove fly into the house and got injured. My dad got our fishing net pole and caught it, and put it in a clothes hamper. We fed it for a few days then let it go.
