Ahhh crap. If you're wearing a brace already it doesn't sound too good.

Well, still hoping for the best. It's easy to be fooled either way. Typically though, if you just "feel" something pop, it's not critical. Now, if you audibly "hear" the pop, you're screwed.

I tore my left ACL a long time ago riding a little dirt bike at a party while drinking some shine. I put my leg down to do a quick turn, and could hear it over the sound of the bike.

It swole up like a cantaloupe immediately and I walked with a crutch for a while. I happened to catch a medical show of the exact operation and saw them use a Dewalt drill to put three holes in the knee area.

That would have been my first major operation. I passed. Now to this day if I'm drinking and my muscles are really relaxed and I'm dancing say, a lot, it can hyperextend easily. It hurts for a day but then I'm good.

I tore my calf muscle almost completely. If I flex the muscle you can still feel a line across it from going back together. Sometimes when the weather is funky it bothers me. That was back in high school I did it. I now have fully realized, leg day in the gym and then running laps without stretching is BAD.

Tore mine in1/2 Back in 2002 Worst Frikin pain i have ever felt .Stopped me dead in my tracks and Straight to ER.

 

I tore my left calf not major I dont think, while on active duty but I hobbled back in and it still gives me fits if I over work it. Like recently hiked a lot of miles hunting, its giving me warning right now.

 

Don't over do it dadgum .

Ya I made it half way around the field, I went down hard and it felt like my leg was on fire. I think the worse part was during rehab of it getting steroid injections to help with growth of the muscle itself. Like liquid freaking lava being put inside me.
