Hey guys, I am a proud new owner of a 2019 off-road. I'm looking to add a 3 inch lift to my truck and fit true 33's on it but there is just so much info out here it's hard to sift through. I'm new to lifting and offroading in general and could definitely use some help.

I would like an off-road capable truck. I would like to eventually get into over landing but for now, I would like something that I can take on the beach, logging roads, and moderate 4x4 trails. I also have to make a 14+/- hour drive twice every 6 weeks so it's important to get something that rides well on pavement as well as off road.

I don't want to say that price isn't an issue, because I don't want to pay for things I do not need, but I have a pretty decent budget set aside for this venture.

One of my main concerns for now is; I'm eventually going to want to add a frame over my bed with a rooftop tent as well as a steel rear bumper and likely some extra armor around the truck. But, at the same time, I want the truck to be level for the time being.

Should I just upgrade my springs and AAL when I do add that weight in the back? Or are there other ways to go about it?

Also, I talked to my local shop briefly but they mostly install RC lifts and didn't seem to have a ton of knowledge about the lifts that are commenly talked about on this forum. They also told me that to fit 33s with a 3" lift, I would only need to add wheel spacers and a CMC wouldn't be necessary. A CMC doesn't seem like a big deal to me, and I've heard mixed things about spacers, what do y'all think?

What systems do y'all recommend for a sort of dual purpose truck? (Off-road and commuter)

I really appreciate the help and the info, thank you

I would do a 2-2.5in lift with a dobinsons or OME kit. these kits have a larger shock body and more oil that your stock setup. they will also have a stock suspension lifespan and are very durable. as far as the rear, you could throw an add a leaf or lift block in there for now to get you the extra height. check out the progressive add a leafs like wheelers or icon. when you add real weight to your bed, you should upgrade to either the dakars or dobinsons leaf pack. to fit the 33's you would either need a wheel with a zero offset with about 8 inches of width or spacers on your stock wheels. you would also need some sort of Upper control arm to raise your castor numbers. spc makes a really great adjustable one with easily serviceable parts.
