Hi does anyone know where in Seattle area i can take my Tacoma to get a cab mount chop/fender trim? I would do I myself but don’t have all the proper tools. Getting all terrain 285/75/16 with lift soon and don’t want any issues..... Also trying to use stock wheels will that work?

Stockers will rub UCA’s, you’ll need proper backspacing... CMC by @JimSnell

Stock wheels are only 7 inches to 7.5 inches. You risk popping the bead on corners and especially off road aired down.Typically for that size tire you would want to run at least a 8 inch wide rim.

Getting 1.25” spacers to clear uca, but didn’t think about the stock width

BFG says approved rim width range for 285/75r16 KO2's is 7.5" to 9". Toyo says the same thing for their 285/75r16 M/T's.

So it will depend on exactly which wheels the OP has. I have the TX Pro faux beadlocks, which are 7.5" wide and have 4.64" of BS, so they work with the 285's just fine. They didn't rub my stock UCAs (when I had stockers) nor my current LR UCAs.

I think you have that backwards... narrower wheels are usually better for holding the bead

Not with a tire as wide as 285.... like I said it's a risk.
    255/85/16 maybe a better choice.

I'd do it for you, I did my own, a little bit of a drive from Seattle to Orlando though.

Don't forget to beat your pinch weld over too.
