I ran them in that size for a few months before I switch them out. They were pretty rough on the road and I took about a 3mpg hit from the factory tires. They are great tires but I would not run this specific size again. The drawbacks just aren’t worth the benefits for my truck.

I bought E rated KO2s 265/70/17, drove on them for a couple weeks and boy were they heavy and seriously made the powertrain work much harder just to get it moving. Luckily I got them at Discount Tire and they switched them out for C loads no charge. I can still feel the drag but it's way more tolerable. I would NOT get E rated.

I have driven a Pro and have and Off Road, Pro is far superior in the way the suspension feels. Definitely a performance shock vs the Off Road bottom tier Bills.

Only a senior citizen with recent spinal surgery would prefer the OR’s spongier ride.

My E rated KO2’s rode pretty rough for the first few hundred miles. After a while I’m not sure if they leveled out but it rides a lot smoother now. I have 30k on them and will need replacing when they reach 40k.

    list is growing fast
    I have run e ko2’s for 45k miles.
Cons: You will see a 2mpg drop. You will slightly notice a loss of acceleration. You will notice more feedback from road imperfections.
Pros: You will be much more confident in your safety when going on trail. You can go a lot faster through the desert. You will not puncture the sidewall as easily when airing down for crawling trails. You will not as easily get flats when driving through construction zones (nails, screws etc).

If you’re mostly city driving and some highway driving, stick to a SL or C load tire.

    I mean… it’s a Ford, you don’t care
Running 265/70r17 BFG ATKO2 and it’s rides fine. Firmer than my old tires but not teeth chattering or anything
