2.5 inch lift, 265/75/16s Smittybilt awning. Custom Bed Stereo. Rear View camera. Light bar forward and backwards. Front cooler rack. Leds front and under steps. Garmin off road gps. Garmin one road GPS . Two different units. CB, Roof Rack with custom Tent mounts. Traction Boards. Bliston Shocks.
Ok,, I bought the whole set of 5100s had them installed guy called said the back end was setting down to much in the rear. Ran by Advance they just happen to have a two inch lift kit bought it we through a 2 inch block under the rear, all into the sunset i went. But the ride sucked for some reason and the back end was still down a little even with the 2 inch block. Ordered another 1.5 inch block and a set of Fox 985-24-196 for 310 dollars. I had enough room with the two inch block kit I didn't need more clamps and the nuts had about a 1/4 inch thread showing under the nuts. Now the height is rear is just a tad over the front and I found out why the ride sucked. The 5100 blisteins were bottemed out. The new Fox 985-24-310 were designed for 4 to 6 inch more travel.

If you want to raise your truck use the blisteins in the front set on 2.5 inches Max for what they come with or you can set and order a 3 to 3.5 inch block kit for the rear, along with those Fox shocks. Truck rode like a Caddy coming home yesterday and No more Carolina Squat. :)

so you bought stock height 5100s for the rear and no all or anything? rear shocks alone don't lift at all. and yes with stock height 5100s and blocks they are gonna bottom out. this post is confusing

Or......set them on zero at the front and utilize a proper 2" lift coil. And just put an extra leaf in out back. No bottoming out to be worried about. And they ride just like the stock TRD setup with the 4600's.

Just curious I just bought the toy tech 2.5/3 in. Strut lift with new coils and aal in the rear. I opted to get the boss shocks for the rear because on the web site it says the bilstien shocks for the rear are for 0 to 1in lift and the boss were for 1 to 3 in lift. Did I make the right decision?

Im running 5100's with 2" of lift on 2 different trucks. No problems.

Also Im 90% sure the boss shocks are relabeled 5100's with a higher price.
