I painted right on stealing wheel, just covered in wrap and taped a square. I put about ten coats on it and peeled off super easy from wheel... actually quite simple to do I raven drove to gym mid painting and at stop light put a coat on and in gym parking lot lol... after cardio added a few more coats to it.

Well it looks better than any I've seen done so far. With some black paint you'd never know it was broken.

Thanks and Me too. Really thought they would sell. :notsure:

Instead of a switch, what about this ground trigger? I installed it near the battery where there is already a hole. It worked well for me.

These days, with ABS, you may not here any squealing or see any tire marks.

Well shit, I installed the brackets wrong . They are supposed to be on the inside, will fix tomorrow. The light output is plenty for my needs. Will be using the outside lights for ditch lights. The install itself was easy and straightforward, it's solidly built. I added some molding on the front where it touches the roof for protection.

Hey guys. When I wired up my halos I tapped the power wire from the side marker as per a video I found about it. I realize now that the halos won't come on unless my lights are on and not just with the DRL, which is what I intended. Does anyone happen to know which wire I need to tap on the DRL harness so that they will come on together?

    Thx

woke up this morning knowing i wanted to tackle this so i did. Added a fog light switch for my "ridge fog light clones coming in the mail tomorrow"

All in all it took 1 hr. with 1/2 of that finding the right tools

Flat head to pry some panels
    Phillips head
    T30 air bag
    19mm for the wheel nut.

Lol. Painting on the go. I like that. Was curious if it came off as easy as doing the badges. Sounds like it did. I have some left over so I'll give this a shot. Thanks

I heard you needed something to do so glad I could help . Glad you are happy with it. I'm concerned that the cross bars may interfere with the sunroof when its in the up position and don't like the idea that it rest against the roof. I don't want my paint damaged even though I've seen where people put trim around the edge and even put a strip of vinyl across the truck under the rack. I'll have to think about this for a bit. Thanks for the info.
