Anyone running very highway friendly tires in a 33" size?
Would love another inch of clearance but don't need the grip all that much as of lately. Also the larger surface area of a wider tire would be nice in the sand.

    Thoughts/advice would be appreciated p

2nd gen here but i run a 295 70 r17 Nitto terra grappler and they are the best on-road "aggressive-ish" tire i have run for highway ride and mpg for the size (and the money too). Lot of guys love the Michelin Defender LTX onroad performance for high mile driving comfort etc but they are like 300$ a tire.

Yeah I had a set of michelins on my old 1st gen 2wd Tacoma and loved them. How do you like the nitro grapplers off-road? Those would honestly be my first pick

LTX is king of quiet and good all around performance.

For a really tame A/T the Yoko Geolander G015 is the best choice (even snowflake rated).

I see General Grabber HT-S is in 33" size as well, wouldnt be a bad choice for a highway tire in that size.
