Finally put mine on last night. These are the regular/regular with 285's. I probably should have gotten the oversized, but I saved some money and don't care too much.

Alright, I have finally gotten time to mount the set I bought from moe2o4. My factory rears fit real nice. Hug the body. Don't leave gaps. Mounted the left rear only, so far, and find numerous nooks and crannies where mud and crud will accumulate. And the three mounts seem less than secure. They don't tighten down very snug. What am I missing?

I don't think you're missing anything...I was thinking the same about mine. lots of places for mud/debris to accumulate, and the metal screws don't snug down too much because the female end is mushy stock plastic. I think these would be a lot better as bolts instead of wood screws into plastic holes. Hope for the best!

The biggest issue I have with these, which I can't really blame on Rokblokz, but Taco owners should know, is that if you did any kind of fender trimming in the front to accommodate larger tires, you probably trimmed off mounting points needed for these flaps and now you can not use these flaps. I have two fronts sitting in my garage that are worthless to me now unless I fab up some sort of mounting points.

I thought about that, as well. I suppose the only problem is, if you took a good hit the plastic would pull out, or break. It you used the bolts it would tear up the sheet metal that the plastic (now through bolted) is attached to.

I got the oversized, but I never mounted the rear. I put one on the front and could never get the gap to go away, I tried using the short and long mounts(yes, I read the instructions and had the correct hardware in the correct spots) and even some other stuff I had around the garage, and seemed whatever I tried I always had a gap somewhere, like the were cut wrong or something? I ended sending them back and they did give me a full refund, but I was out the $20-25 to send them back. They went ahead and waived the 20% restock fee(only one was ever mounted and never left the garage) and claimed they were destroyed in shipping(they were packed by USPS and insured). Then accused me of not using the correct hardware in the correct places, whatever. They look like crap anyway and way overpriced. They would look a lot better if they were rounded a little instead of just that angle cut. The regular look OK, but the oversized look terrible sticking way out there and the shorts are too short to actually do any good. There was another thread where a guy got them and he complained everything just went under the flaps like they weren't there. What a waste of $120

I have there 'regular'. My truck didn't have front flaps so these will help. With the deep 'v' cut to these the attachment points work, but there are big gaps behind the flap that will allow accumulation of mud and crud, I think. But it might also allow sticks and the like to get caught in there and tear them off. We shall see.
