Came out pretty good. I double battered a couple but my wife told me wrong order!

Best were simple wash dip then coating.

Some were wash then coating then wash and coating again. Cooked up fine too bready.

Wife said I should try dry coating then wash then dry coating again.

Anyway the simple wash coat product was golden brown tasty. Maybe slightly over cooked but still juicy.

    Need more spices in coating

My wife made some sweet potato fries tonight with some frozen chicken burgers from Trader Joe’s.

She cut them in to the desired size and tossed them in some olive oil with salt, pepper, and paprika. Cooked at 350deg until done to your liking. We filled the basket up pretty full so I made sure to toss them every 10 minutes or so to ensure even cooking.

After going to Canada about 5 years ago I learned to dip my fries in mayo and I’ve been doing that ever since.

I’m going to have some pumpkin seeds in a day or so. What temp and how long did you go?

May have to try them in there. I normally roast in the oven. One of my favorite snacks.

    Store bought chicken nuggets
    400 degrees for 5 min
Pull them out and toss in buffalo sauce and back in for another 5 min at 400.

Nice and crispy and great flavor... No pics this time

Parsnips. Fresh ones. No wood. Cut in FAT strips Like a fat fry but not as big as a steak fry. Good olive oil. 380°F for 14 minutes or so. They smell like maple. Sweet and tasty.

I decided to return this unit.

It is large, controls and other parts work fine. Reliable. One HUGE problem I didn't even know.........or know to think about..max temp is 380°F. That just is not hot enough. Some items, especially homemade breaded items need 400°F and they need it NOW. 380° is weak, and it must have been a trade off with size.

It was definitely a "what the hell " thing. Wife thinks I'm not going to replace it. I'll show her!

Well after a couple years of heavy use, our basket is starting to peel in the air fryer. Time for a newer, bigger model. Time to research.:spending:

We totally murdered some TTs. Waaaay too long cooking. 2nd try was
Wings were crispy and good, need to change the wife's seasoning lol.
Air fryers have been around for a while, why haven't frozen food suppliers added time and temp to their package instructions? :(

Agreed, usually I take the same oven temp and do a few minutes less/check every few minutes to make sure its not overcooked
