Rounding off a fun exhausting day of running with MFD and their medics. Got home to the PIPE stickers from @theJCKRBBT thanks Paul!

@Peeing on Jeeps , did you mean Thorp, WI?

Either way, if you're going to check out the northern section, beware of road FR327!

    It runs from here :

    46°02'25.7"N 90°43'28.0"W
Forest Rd 164, Glidden, WI 54527
    https://goo.gl/maps/LoVPSpVXDvkymP8X8

    To here:

    46°04'52.8"N 90°42'12.3"W
    Glidden, WI 54527
    https://goo.gl/maps/3FMewfBRinPWaViy7

This road was so overgrown that I had branches consistently scraping along BOTH sides of the truck! I went in with almost a brand new truck, and came out with hundreds of scratches.

I believe @Shellshock had a similar experience this summer.

I highly recommend taking a detour around this road. Just a heads up. I can't be sure of the current conditions, but I wanted to let you know.

Here a picture of the map to get an idea of the location. The area circled in red, between the two markers is FR327.

and my truck is skinnier, you must have gotten it worse than i did

Pinstripes are not something to worry about. Wear them as a badge of honor for taking the road less traveled, each one a little reminder of good times that were had in the spirit of adventure.

I don't "worry" about it as much as I just don't want my truck to look like a piece of shit.

I'm not sure what the conditions are like now, or even what they were when the other group went through in the summer. But, when I went through there in May, I was literally nauseous from the constant scraping and banging on the sides of the truck.

I felt better once two of my buddies assured me that most of it would buff out.

I don't get upset about the occasional branch, but this was on another level.

its always been fun to look out at that black truck with a nice white glaze all over it in the winter
then the next day its slightly humid and warmer and the glaze is gone
    guess what happened!?!

I get bonus points at the dealer whenever I take it in for work. The pinstripes and sheared off bolt heads on the skids and such. One tech said it was a honor working on my truck. LOL they even took pictures of it. For what I don’t know, but the asked if they could.

No.. I was sick because I thought I was destroying my truck. The trail was not challenging. It was just overgrown.

Running the pipeline with 10 other trucks was an adventure!

Scratching the shit out of a brand new truck just made me question my sanity

    i hear ya there
my truck was a couple of years old when i wanted to really test its 4wd capabilities in some thick sloppy mud near my uncles Kansas farm, on a minimum maintenance road in the spring after the ground had thawed.
my sister, who was riding along, did not like that i kept getting deeper and deeper and no pavement in sight!
