A shoutout to Slick Automotive in Ottawa (for winter tires etc..)

I just ordered a winter wheel and tire setup at Slick Automotive.

I have worked with them before and André is great to deal with. Pricing is competitive and service is bar none. He is a real car guy and quick to respond.

They also do Opticoat Ceramic coating, something I am considering doing next year (sadly no budget now lol). I have it on my other car and it's amazing.

I went with Replika R239 16" wheels with Gislavet NordFrost 200 tires. I will be running them with Autel TPMS sensors because my OCD will not be able to handle the dash light.
They can clone the factory serial numbers so that you don't need to reset the vehicle each season.

I can highly recommend Slick.

Which Autel TPMS sensors did you go with? I was told by a Cochrane Toyota that the Autel MX couldn’t be programmed to a 2020 Tacoma just yet.

 

Sorry for not replying earlier. I'm in Spain now and unable to look up which exact sensors André used. What I can say is that they worked great out of the box. He duplicated the codes from each wheel using a scanner tool and transferred them to the other set. No issues.
