Anyone know a better way than to pay the dealer a crazy amount of money to get updates for the navigational maps? Is there another way?

ditto on google...the nav systems on toyotas absolutely suck, I never use it on my 2015 Highlander. One of the selling points for the new 2020 Tacos, is using Android Auto.

I'm wondering now that the new H.U. are out, if they're the same nav cards or not and if we can still upgrade them. I find mine quite useful, and would like to be able to update it on occasion.

I only use the Nav for the last mile of my trip if I need to.

I usually look up the route on google and memorize the route. Simple enough. If the route is long, and I need help for a lot of turns at the end of the trip, I have the address on my nav ready to go, and just hit start for that last mile or so.
